Well, I attempted to post this two days ago and the lap-top randomly decided to shut down and lost all my post! So here we go again. On June 26th, we blessed Tyler down in Pomerene. At the time, Tyler was 11 days old, yes, call us crazy! However, we decided to do the blessing so soon because Chris's sister was down from Minnesota and we didn't think Tyler would fit in his blessing outfit a week later! That kid is growing like a weed. But it was a beautiful blessing, done by Chris. It was so neat to have almost all of both families there to share the experience with us. I am so grateful to have a husband who honors his priesthood and was able to do the blessing. According to Chris, Tyler is now official! His full name is Tyler Christopher Brogan. We were able to stay in Pomerene for a few days and visit with Chris's family, which was a lot of fun. Heather was able to take some pictures of Tyler for us, and they turned out so so cute!
Tuesday afternoon we headed down to Safford to spend some time with my family. We attempted to take more pictures of Tyler with Becky, but Tyler decided to be a stinker and scream most of the time. Thank you Becky for persevering and working with us and being able to snap a few. We will have to re-schedule another time when Tyler is more cooperative.
Tyler had a doctor apt on Friday the 1st of July and his weight was up to 10 lbs 4 oz! According to the doctor, he is putting on more than 1 oz per day, so no worries about his growth:-) It is crazy to think how fast time is flying. He will be three weeks old tomorrow. It almost doesn't seem real to me that me and Chris are parents now. But life is great being a new mom, just trying to adjust to life without much sleep. Lucky for me I have an amazing husband who lets me nap during the day and takes more than his share of shifts. It is so much fun to see the changes taking place in Tyler and I love when he gives me a smile. I know it is a reflex but it still melts my heart and I just love this little man!
